A Toast to Education: BR-008 Benefits Kentucky Jailers Association

Give 270’s BR-008 was another exciting and impactful round in our ongoing mission to pair bourbon with great causes. This time, we raised $8,080 to benefit the Kentucky Jailers Association Scholarship Fund, helping support the educational goals of students connected to Kentucky’s jailer community.

BR-008 gave participants the chance to win from several incredible bourbon prizes, including the grand prize: a stunning 6-bottle Weller “Rainbow” Vertical!

Thanks to everyone who entered and helped us turn a passion for bourbon into real opportunity for students across the Commonwealth.

Celebrating Local Heroes: Elizabethtown Officers Honored Through “On Watch” Raffle

Give 270 was honored to be present as the female honorees of the “On Watch” raffle were recognized for their outstanding service to the community. Both recipients—Sgt. Andrea Haire and Lt. Maddison Kuklinski—serve with the Elizabethtown Police Department, and were nominated by community members who wanted to show their appreciation for these remarkable officers.

Each was awarded a Thin Blue Line Citizen watch during a special presentation, and it was a privilege to witness their well-deserved recognition in person.

We’re grateful for the continued dedication of Sgt. Haire, Lt. Kuklinski, and all of Elizabethtown’s first responders. Thank you for keeping our community safe—and thank you to everyone who supported the “On Watch” raffle to help us give back in a meaningful way.

$1,500 Raised for Elizabethtown Police Foundation Through On Watch Raffle

Give 270 is proud to announce that $1,500 was raised for the Elizabethtown Police Foundation through the On Watch Raffle, held in June 2025. The raffle gave participants the chance to win a Citizen Thin Blue Line or Thin Red Line watch — with a unique twist: each winner also got to honor a deserving First Responder by gifting them a matching watch.

Thanks to the generous support of Clark Jewelers, who donated the prizes, and to everyone who purchased a $10 ticket, three winners were selected live on YouTube. One winner each was drawn for the Men’s Thin Blue Line Watch (Police Officer), the Women’s Thin Blue Line Watch (Female Police Officer), and the Men’s Thin Red Line Watch (Firefighter).

Proceeds from the raffle benefit the Elizabethtown Police Foundation, supporting programs that enhance the effectiveness and excellence of the Elizabethtown Police Department. Thank you to all who helped make this special tribute and fundraiser a success!
