Whiskey Wednesdays Turn Sips Into Support

As part of Give 270’s Whiskey Wednesdays Round 16, participants raised funds while enjoying a little friendly competition, with 25 cents from every dollar raised set aside to support a nonprofit chosen by the round’s ultimate grand prize winner.

This round’s winner, James Robbins, selected Straight & Stalwart as the beneficiary, resulting in a donation of $3,832.25 to support their work with veterans transitioning to civilian life.

It’s proof that a small piece of every dollar can add up to big impact, and that generosity pairs perfectly with great bottles.

Give 270 Presents $15,665 to USA Cares

When military families hit hard times, help shouldn’t be out of reach. Give 270 recently presented $15,665 to USA Cares as a result of BR-010, helping provide emergency financial support to service members, veterans, and their families when life takes an unexpected turn.

This gift is more than a number. It’s rent paid, utilities kept on, and stress lifted for families who have already given so much for our country. Give 270 is proud to stand behind USA Cares and the veterans they serve.

Give 270 Presents $62,500 to CASA of the Heartland

Give 270 recently presented $62,500 to CASA of the Heartland as a result of Pappy Palooza Round 3, fueling life-changing advocacy for children who have experienced abuse or neglect across our region. This gift supports CASA’s recruitment efforts to recruit and train more advocates to serve children.

Together, Give 270 and CASA of the Heartland are helping ensure every child has the chance for safety, stability, and hope.

The presentation also marked a major milestone for Give 270: surpassing $2 million in total donations invested back into our community. Each dollar represents belief in local nonprofits and the people they serve.
