    Give 270 Donates to Support Kentucky Bluegrass Sergeants Major Association – Fort Knox

    Give 270 recently presented a $6,500 check to the Kentucky Bluegrass Sergeants Major Association – Fort Knox, made possible through proceeds from Whiskey Wednesdays Round 18.

    The donation will help benefit the organization’s scholarship program for high school seniors across Fort Knox and Hardin and Meade counties. In total, the organization awards five, $1,000 annual scholarships to ease the cost of higher education for area students. Working in partnership with the Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club, the organization gives thousands of dollars to aspiring college students to aid their education.

    The donation includes proceeds from Raffle BR-011 totaling $25,000, which will help Sargeant’s Army distribute 2,000 outerwear kits to homeless veterans, providing essential warmth and supplies. This support ensures that veterans in need receive care and a reminder that they are not forgotten.

    Whiskey Wednesdays Turn Sips Into Support

    As part of Give 270’s Whiskey Wednesdays Round 16, participants raised funds while enjoying a little friendly competition, with 25 cents from every dollar raised set aside to support a nonprofit chosen by the round’s ultimate grand prize winner.

    This round’s winner, James Robbins, selected Straight & Stalwart as the beneficiary, resulting in a donation of $3,832.25 to support their work with veterans transitioning to civilian life.

    It’s proof that a small piece of every dollar can add up to big impact, and that generosity pairs perfectly with great bottles.

    Give 270 recently presented $62,500 to CASA of the Heartland as a result of Pappy Palooza Round 3, fueling life-changing advocacy for children who have experienced abuse or neglect across our region. This gift supports CASA’s recruitment efforts to recruit and train more advocates to serve children.

    Together, Give 270 and CASA of the Heartland are helping ensure every child has the chance for safety, stability, and hope.

    The presentation also marked a major milestone for Give 270: surpassing $2 million in total donations invested back into our community. Each dollar represents belief in local nonprofits and the people they serve.

    Serving 42 counties across Kentucky, FAKH works to gather and distribute food to support neighbors in need and funds to help support and sustain agency partner food banks and pantries. Their vision is simple: provide equitable access to nutritious food so no one in Kentucky’s Heartland will go hungry.     Whiskey Wednesdays Round 15 Pours Support into Storm Recovery

    When communities face hardship, Kentuckians show up and that’s exactly what happened following recent storms across the region. Following Whiskey Wednesdays Round 15, generosity was on full display as Give 270 raised funds to support storm recovery efforts in three areas: Elizabethtown, Somerset, and London.

    Thanks to an incredible turnout, the final week of the round raised $4,500, which was divided among the three communities to aid local recovery and rebuilding initiatives. From repairing damage to supporting families in need, these funds will help neighbors get back on their feet.
