Give 270 recently presented a $2,000 check to the Vine Grove Historical Society made possible through proceeds from Whiskey Wednesdays Round 19.
The donation will support the organization’s Restore the Caboose initiative. The campaign aims to restore one of the community’s most recognizable landmarks while transforming an underutilized space in Historic Downtown Vine Grove into a vibrant gathering place for residents and visitors alike.
Located just off Main Street near the railroad tracks, the caboose serves as a lasting reminder of Vine Grove’s rich railroad heritage and small-town history. Restoring the landmark aligns with the Historical Society’s mission to preserve and celebrate the stories, places and traditions that have shaped the community for generations.
