Give 270 Helps Support Scholarships for Future Leaders Through KBSMA

The Kentucky Bluegrass Sergeants Major Association recently shared an exciting update on the impact of programs supported through Whiskey Wednesday Round 18.

“Elizabethtown, KY—The Kentucky Bluegrass Sergeants Major Association (KBSMA) is
proud to announce the 2026 recipients of its annual Student Scholarship Program.
KBSMA will award $1,000 scholarships to six outstanding high school students from
across the region to support their college education. The scholarships will be formally
presented at each recipient’s high school awards ceremony.


KBSMA selected six young scholars to be this year’s recipients:
Katja Sikorski, Fort Knox Middle High School
Jaxon Dykes, Fort Knox Middle High School
Luca Caristi, Meade County High School
Tessa King, John Hardin High School
Maribel Sikes, Lions High School (Homeschool)
Jacob Piasecki, Washington County High School

The KBSMA scholarship program was established to recognize outstanding students in
the Kentucky Bluegrass region and assist them with the financial demands of higher
education. The KBSMA’s Scholarship Program recognizes high school seniors who
demonstrate academic performance and social values such as integrity, extracurricular
involvement, community service and demonstrated leadership potential.
Each year, KBSMA proudly partners with the Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club
to give thousands of dollars to aspiring college students to aid in their education. Our
association prides itself in investing in the future generation! These scholarships with
help empower the next generation of Americans to pursue higher education and assist
them to achieve their personal goals.“We are proud to recognize this year’s KBSMA Scholarship recipients for their academic achievements, athletic accolades and positive impact to their communities,” said Alex Licea, KBSMA President. “These scholarships show our commitment to help the next generation of leaders strive through the power of education, and we look forward to the positive impacts they will make in the future.”
Family members, friends, and school officials are invited to attend the scholarship
presentations during each school’s upcoming awards ceremony.
