Southwest Smash

This spicy cocktail matches our current Kentucky forecast and it’s also great to pair with our weekly Whiskey Wednesdays drawing at 8 p.m. eastern time on Wednesday nights.

Ingredients:

-2 parts bourbon 
-1 part simple syrup
-1/2 lemon muddled
-2 slices jalapeno 

-Tajin rim

Directions:

1. Fill a mixing glass 2/3 full of ice. Add the bourbon, simple syrup, lemon, and jalapeno and stir until well-chilled.
2. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
3. Garnish with a Tajin rim.
