Give 270 announces Ward Warriors Golf Scramble
February 18, 2021
ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. – Give 270 is currently organizing the Ward Warriors Golf Scramble in an effort to help support the Ward family, whose two young daughters have both recently been treated for Leukemia.
Tenley, 5, had recently completed 19 months of treatment, while Adley, 3, was just diagnosed this past January. Both children have been receiving treatment at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. The Ward family has remained together, living in a house near the hospital, three hours away from home.
The Ward Warriors Golf Scramble will be held on April 30, 2021, at the Elizabethtown Country Club. The entry fee is $100 per person. Individuals or teams may sign up. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start taking place at 10 a.m.
Hole sponsorships are available to business or individuals for $110 per hole. A silent auction will also be held throughout the course of the scramble.
Additionally, Pinkham Lincoln Automotive Group will sponsor a hole-in-one contest with a 2021 Lincoln Corsair as the prize. Other par 3 prizes will be available during the event as well. “Our goal in organizing this event is to help support a family that is going through something completely unimaginable,” stated Give 270 Board Member Justin Howard. “Through the support of our community, we hope to ease even a little bit of the burden that has been put on this amazing family, and these brave little girls.”
All proceeds from this event will support the Ward Family, who have been unable to work while living in Cincinnati.
