This bourbon-based cocktail from New Orlean’s restaurant, Jewel of the South is a perfect pair for our Whiskey Wednesdays drawing at 8 p.m. ET.
Ingredients:
-1 3/4 parts bourbon
-3/4 parts dark amaro (Averna or Ramazzotti)
-1/4 parts Strega
-2 dashes Peychaud’s
-Orange peel
Directions:
- Stir all ingredients except garnish in a mixing glass with ice until well chilled,
- Strain into a rocks glass over a large cube.
- Garnish with an orange peel.
