Katie French, president of the Central Hardin FFA Alumni, stopped by to pick up the organization’s proceeds check from the Round 10 Whiskey Wednesdays Bourbon Raffle benefiting area scholarships. The $10,000 check will be awarded to senior scholarship recipients as well as off setting event costs for FFA events during the students’ time in high school.

Fred Noe from Jim Beam joined us for the April 17 Give 270 Whiskey Wednesday’s drawing. We had a great time hearing stories about the first question asked when the Jim Beam lab finds a 40 proof bottle and the marketing behind the “Little Book” moniker.
We also had him draw three winners for John O’s Liquor‘s FIRST ever first responder bottle with 100% of the proceeds going to Elizabethtown Fire Department, Ambulance Service & Police Department. Give 270 will also be matching John O’s donation to our first responders!!

At the conclusion of Round 10: Whiskey Wednesdays, Give 270 presented a proceeds check to Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club for $12,500. The amount included a $2,500 bonus for being the benefiting organization who received the most “clicks” from ticket purchases.
The Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club is a 501c3 nonprofit organization serving military spouses and the local communities surrounding Fort Knox. Their philanthropic work is in the form of scholarships and grants, and through relationship building sub-clubs.
Give 270 teamed up with Bourbon for HeART to sponsor artist Morgan Ruth, one of the featured 21 hand-painted bourbon bottles and ballet pointe shoes for the “Bourbon, Ballet & Benz” exhibit showcasing the talents of local artists.
The purpose of this exhibit is to support the mission of Bourbon with HeART and to raise funds for Louisville Ballet’s Ballet Bound Program, which provides free classical ballet training to aspiring young dancers from Greater Louisville.
This exhibit is proudly presented by Bourbon with HeART, the world’s first and only art bourbon charity! Bourbon with HeART, a Kentucky 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to leveraging the influence and popularity of bourbon to enhance awareness of Kentucky’s art community, ensure greater access to first-class arts experiences for all Kentuckians—regardless of age, race, class, gender, or ability—and to raise funds for other non-profits.
On March 15, representatives from Give 270 presented a $21,000 proceeds check from their recent Bourbon Strong 50-4-50 raffle to the Community Health Clinic. The Community Health Clinic provides basic health care, dental care, prescription assistance, advocacy, and education to the uninsured and underinsured in five central Kentucky counties.
Winners were drawn on February 28th for 50 bourbon prizes including a variety of allocated and limited release bottles and three grand prizes including a 6-bottle “Pappy” Vertical, an 8-bottle Weller Set (Full Rainbow plus Daniel Weller and BTAC WLW), and a 2012 Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year.

The newest Bourbon Strong 50-4-50 charity raffle will benefit people all over the region, as proceeds go to the Community Health Clinic, serving Hardin, LaRue, Meade, Breckinridge and Grayson Counties. Elizabethtown, Kentucky-based nonprofit Give 270 is now selling tickets for the Feb 28 raffle which features 50 bourbon prizes.
Included in the raffle prizes are three grand prizes: a six-bottle “Pappy” Vertical including a Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 23 year, Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 20 year, Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 15 year, Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye 13 year, Van Winkle Special Reserve Lot “B” 12 year and Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year; an eight-bottle Weller Set including BTAC William LaRue Weller, Daniel Weller, Single Barrel, C.Y.P.B., Full Proof, 12 year, Antique 107 and Special Reserve; and a Stitzel Weller vintage 2012 Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year.

The Bourbon Strong 50-4-50 raffle will take place live on Give 270’s Facebook page and YouTube channel on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 8 p.m. During the raffle, prizes four through 50 will be drawn, and each of those winning tickets will be returned to the drawing tumbler for the drawing of the three grand prizes.
Tickets are $50 and will be available for purchase until 7 p.m. on the day of the drawing. A total of 3,000 tickets are available for the raffle. There is no limit to the amount of tickets purchased per person, subject to availability. Tickets can be purchased and a full list of prizes can be viewed by visiting give270.org and clicking Bourbon Strong.

As a result of Whiskey Wednesdays Round 9: Pappy Palooza, Give 270 was able to donate $85,000 to CASA of the Heartland, a non-profit child advocacy organization based in Elizabethtown, Ky., that serves all of Hardin County, LaRue County, and Fort Knox. CASA recruits, trains, and supports a network of volunteers, who are court-appointed to act as advocates for abused and neglected children under the protection of the County Family Court system.
“We were hopeful that this raffle would help us generate funds for CASA, but we were blown away by the generosity of the community and Give 270,” said CASA of the Heartland Executive Director Michelle Kail. “This donation will allow us to continue growing our organization to advocate for even more children in Hardin and LaRue counties.”
CASA of the Heartland will use the donation funds to help recruit additional volunteers and continue to support current volunteers who advocate for the most vulnerable children in the community. The organization relies on community support and partnerships to accomplish their mission each year.

Elizabethtown-based nonprofit Give 270, having recently achieved a significant milestone of raising $1 million for various community organizations and initiatives, is set to host its newest charity whiskey raffle concept: 20/20 Unicorn. Scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 7 p.m., each $20 ticket purchased offers participants two chances to win from a curated assortment of 20 Buffalo Trace products, including the grand prize: a bottle of Double Eagle Very Rare.
Crafted in limited quantities by Buffalo Trace Distillery, Double Eagle Very Rare is a 20-year-old bourbon, double the age of the distillery’s standard Eagle Rare 10-year. Encased in a silver box and crystal decanter adorned with two sculpted crystal glass eagles, very few bottles were produced, with an individually-numbered letter of authenticity included with each.
During the raffle, prizes numbered two through 20 will be drawn initially, with all tickets returning to the tumbler for an opportunity to win the Double Eagle Very Rare.
The 20/20 Unicorn theme is anticipated to be a recurring raffle concept for Give 270. Each event will offer $20 tickets providing the chance to win from a curated set of 20 prizes from a specific distillery, including a standout rare “unicorn” prize.
“Through these unique raffles, we want to offer bourbon-lovers the chance to win some seriously rare bottles while giving back,” said Eric Clemens, Board Chair of Give 270. “We aim to not only celebrate exceptional spirits but also raise vital funds for the betterment of our local area.”
The raffle is set to take place live on Give 270’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. In honor of Veterans Day, Give 270 recently presented a check for $3,400 to purchase 300 wreaths to support Wreaths Across America-Fort Knox.
“No matter where they served or how Wreaths Across America strives to ensure that no one is forgotten.” Wreaths Across America hosts activities throughout the year in support of their goal to place a wreath on every hero’s grave each December on Wreaths Across America Day.
