    BeBe’s Bourbon Peach Smash

    This cocktail was made possible by one of our recent winners: BeBe and Peyton Powell. The pair brought fresh Alabama peaches to Give 270 when they picked up their prize! Not only is it perfect for summer sipping, but also for tuning into our weekly Whiskey Wednesdays drawing at 8 p.m. eastern time on Wednesday nights.

    Ingredients:

    -2 parts bourbon 
    -1/2 parts simple syrup
    -1/2 fresh peach cubed & muddled
    -3-4 large mint leaves
    -Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer

    -Spring of Mint

    Directions:

    1. Add peaches, mint leaves, and simple syrup to the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Gently muddle to release the peach juices and mint oils.
    2. Add bourbon, fill the shaker with ice, and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
    3. Top with gingerale. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and a peach slice.

    Ingredients:

    -2 parts bourbon

    -1/2 parts: Cointreau, Luxardo, fresh squeezed lemon juice

    -2 dashes of bitters

    -Sugar rim

    -Lemon ribbon

    Directions:

    1. Rim a chilled glass with sugar; set aside.
    2. Combine all ingredients, except for garnish, in a shaker filled with ice.
    3. Shake and strain into prepared glass.

    Ingredients:

    -2 parts bourbon

    -1 part fresh squeezed lime juice

    -3/4 part simple syrup

    -3 slices of cucumber muddled

    -6-8 mint leaves muddled

    Directions:

    1. Place the mint leaves in a shaker and top with the cucumber slices. Add the simple syrup and gently muddle, making sure to break up the cucumber skins.
    2. Add the bourbon and lime juice, plus ice, and shake until well-chilled.
    3. Strain into a double rocks glass over ice.
    4. Garnish with the cucumber and mint to your liking.

    -1 part fresh squeezed lemon juice

    -3/4 part simple syrup

    -1/2 ounce red wine

    Directions:

    2. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
